So, here we are again, to our appointment with “Four Steps in Rome”. We hope that you liked the last trip that we have shown to you, we ‘re waiting for your comments about it, here we are with another particular trip.
Wake up at 10:00 (We know that on Saturday morning can be a drama, but if we want to visit the city, we have to! XD) We are moving towards Piazza Re di Roma for breakfast from the historic “Pompi”, best known for his Tiramisù. From there, we take a stroll down Via Appia Nuova, to St. John, to look a bit ‘the windows, and of course step down from Leam, just to give us some’ heart. Walk around the market of Via Sannio, it’s a very cute one, you can really find almost everything regarding the clothing, they do it every morning until 13:00 on Saturdays usually removed instead around 15:30 / 16:00. Food!! Let’s go back a bit on our way and we stop at the COIN! This shop multilevel is really cute and well-stocked department, in particular the home department is very well-stocked , and on the top floor there is a restaurant / snack bar where you can eat really well, without spending so much. After lunch and of course a good cup of coffee, we start to discover Rome: we move a little, and we go to visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran. The Basilica is really nice, and I suggest you explore far and wide. Tourist gem: do not miss the sound effect of the two columns, the left nave there are two opposing columns located at least 5 meters apart if you lean to one of the two and breathy something, the other person will be against the other column reports affected the whisper as if he had a person next to him. (needless to say the numbering of columns will be easily recognizable and surrounded by tourists: D) Do not forget to visit the cloister! It ‘really nice, but is often underestimated. We start over again, straight towards the church of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, immediately after (found to the other side of the street) store visit “The Market” is a thrift shop in which you can find pretty much everything from furniture, furnishings, clothing. Passing through the Porta Maggiore let’s take the tram n ° 3 and do just a couple of stops (stop Reti) to get to the San Lorenzo area. Aperitif by Celestino, a cute little place and very cheap, small walk and dinner at Pastificio Cerere. We conclude the evening with a tour of the area which is full of interesting pubs.

Ed eccoci ancora al nostro appuntamento Four Steps in Rome, quattro passi per Roma! Sperando che il percorso che vi abbiamo precedentemente illustrato vi sia piaciuto, attendiamo i vostri commenti al riguardo, eccoci qui con un altro itinerario tutto nostro.
Sveglia alle 10 (circa!! Lo sappiamo che di sabato mattina può essere un dramma, ma se vogliam vistitare la città, ci tocca!! XD). Ci avviamo verso piazza Re di Roma per far colazione dallo storico Pompi, rinomato soprattutto per il suo tiramisù. Da li, ci facciamo un giretto per Via Appia Nuova, verso San Giovanni, per guardare un po’ le vetrine; naturalmente tappa fissa da Leam, giusto per lasciarci un po’ il cuore. Giretto per il mercato di Via Sannio: è un mercato molto carino, si può trovare davvero quasi tutto per quanto riguarda l’abbigliamento; lo fanno tutte le mattine fino alle 13:00, il sabato in genere smonta invece verso le 15:30/ 16:00. Pappa!! Torniamo leggermente indietro sulla nostra strada e ci fermiamo alla COIN! Questo negozio multilivello, è davvero carino e ben fornito, ha un reparto casa meraviglioso, e all’ultimo piano c’è il ristorantino/ tavola calda dove si mangia davvero bene, senza spendere molto. Dopo il pranzo e naturalmente un buon caffè, ripartiamo alla scoperta di Roma: ci spostiamo di poco, ed andiamo a visitare la Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. La Basilica è davvero bella, e vi suggerisco di esplorarla in lungo e in largo. Chicca turistica: non vi perdete l’effetto sonoro delle due colonne, nella navata di sinistra ci son due colonne opposte e distanti almeno 5 metri l’una dall’altra, se vi appoggiate ad una delle due e sospirate qualcosa, l’altra persona che sarà addossata all’altra colonna risentirà il sussurro come se l’avesse fatto una persona accanto a lui. (inutile dirvi la numerazione delle colonne, saranno ben riconoscibili e circondate da turisti 😀 ) Non dimenticate di visitare il chiostro!! E’ davvero bello, ma spesso viene sottovalutato. Ci rimettiamo in marcia, dritti verso la chiesa di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, subito dopo (lo trovate quasi di fronte) visita al negozio “Il Mercatino” è un negozio dell’usato nel quale ci si può trovare davvero di tutto, dal mobilio, all’arredamento, all’abbigliamento. Passando per Porta Maggiore andiamo a prendere il tram n°3 e facciamo giusto un paio di fermate(fermata Reti), per arrivare in zona San Lorenzo. Aperitivo da Celestino, un posticino carino e molto economico, piccola passeggiata e cena al Pastificio Cerere. Concludiamo la serata con un giro per la zona che è piena di localetti interessanti.
