This week we suggest a strange itinerary: our one …
Few weeks ago we realized one of our dreams, we traveled to Italy to get to Lucca and watch the concert of our favorite band, 30 Seconds to Mars.
For us it was a great experience, very important, and that’s why we want to share with you.

Wake Up!!
Today is the big day, we leave for our first concert together, our first concert of 30 Seconds to Mars.
We arrange the last things, we’ve prepared the t-shirts last night, as well as the thermos of coffee (yes, we are a little dependent XD).
We are getting ready to go out harnessed more than ever, jackets worn, and Eastpack bag over our shoulder.
We arrive at the station at 06:30 we still have an hour of time …
Breakfast time!
2 Espresso, 2 orange juices, a simple croissant and a blueberry muffin.
The train was exactly on time!
We reach our carriage and surprise: our seats are the n# 13:14!
Finishing shirts ‘tween a song to the other, and here we are in Florence; just few minutes e to find the right track and on the way for Lucca.
Arriving at the station we realize that we haven’t printed a map with directions to reach the hostel O.O
So we rely on our mystical sense of direction (Chiara Google Map and Mimmi Tom Tom) as well as the old method of asking information.
Then we head towards the arches that surround the town.
Overcoming that we immediately find ourselves doing a blast from the past: a town made up of narrow streets, san pietrini, arches, small squares … a little Romanesque, a little medieval.
We can not resist the temptation and we pass through Piazza Napoleone (where there will be the concert) there are already people, then we rush to the hostel to check-in.
Small detail: we had booked two beds in the male dormitory (-. – “just us!)
The lady was incredibly nice, and it has solved the problem in no time, even if the room was not ready.
We lose time walking around the town, looking for a place where feed ourselves, we find a pizza place that inspires us and we taste the Cecina: a sort of pancake made from chickpea flour, really good!
Back in the hostel, we change ourselves, we prepare and off to Piazza Napoleone!
People, people and again people!
We look around us to see if we meet some familiar faces, but there is too much confusion.
Wandering a bit ‘for the square, trying to figure out which side would put hurdles, we start to chat while we prepare for the row.
A row that has been endless and poorly organized, we thank the representatives of the police who came to make up the work of the security service have made us get seated.
The opening of the gates was scheduled for 19:30, a few minutes late, a little ‘(a lot) of crush and we are rushing towards the stage: we can achieve a dignified position we are roughly in the tenth row, on the left of the stage in front of the station Tomo (the bassist).
Still waiting, then we warm up the voice with the choruses of ohooooh, uhhhoooo… with Simone Jones.
And our heroes get even wait.
Then we hear it, the song begins …
Birth
And there is no more back pain, feet no longer hurt, my legs are no more tired of the long wait, none of that to matter anymore.
The only thing that matters is adsso bask in the music and jumping in time to touch the sky.
Music, Love, Passion.
Color, Entertainment, Warm.
Word of mouth water bottles, Jumps, Singing our hearts out.
Ninety minutes of madness, which made us rebirth again!
14/07/2013 05:00 A.M.
Again Alarm!
We slept very little, a group of boys and girls, who were also at their concert, they were a little too excited to go to sleep at a decent hour or maybe you are just confused and thought they were on a school trip, not caring highly of the other guests of the hostel.
On the road again, what with one thing and another we left the hostel at 06:00, much in advance, but we took the opportunity to make us a walk to Lucca, accompanied only by peace and silence.
On the road again, ready for another dream.
The owners of the Bed and Breakfast we have definitely cuddled and vitiated!
14:00 am and finally we are heading in Piazzola sul Brenta, psychologically ready to begin again: endless line, anxiety and adrenaline.
Another unforgettable night, another dream, another adventure.
New knowledge, new emotions.
We reached the end, I think is not necessary to tell you about our return there would be very little to say.
Probably you did not expect a route like this:
there are no places to visist, but only dreams to fulfill.
On the road!
Breakfast time!

Nuove conoscenze, nuove emozioni.
